THE RECOGNITION
May 2025: Wrapping leather grip on finished club, lifted it, felt the weight. First thought: this will crack a skull.
Then looked at what I was holding. White handle, red tip. Looked like a joint.
Recognition arrived: both crack skulls through different mechanisms. Club cracks someone else's skull instantly through external violence. Joint cracked mine slowly over 24 years through internal damage. Same capacity for destruction, different vectors.
Installing LED opposite bolt head forced the geometric addition: orientation IS the decision. LED forward means violence trails behind unused. Bolt forward means navigation trails behind unused. The object doesn't change. Only which end points ahead. Which destruction you choose.
Fought anxiety with cannabis for 24 years. Tool became master. Medicine became addiction. Fought monsters with cannabis. Became the monster.
